A miserable end
Wonder how it would be if, on capture of the murderous barbarians who cruelly butchered innocent human beings, they are made to experience our justice instead? After a fair trial, if convicted they would then be condemned to spend the rest of their lives in an 8x4 cell, solitary for security reasons, perhaps with just bars in the window as glass could be used to limit the convict's suffering. Temperature kept just high enough to avoid hypothermia, prison food to avoid starvation. They would die only after many decades, old men, murderers and not martyrs. Why could the British taxpayer feel better about funding this? Maybe with minimal provision the cost would be less than a capital trial. But that's unimportant. Configured right, such an end to life, the loss of whatever it is these barbarians hope for - heroism, marytrdom? - the certainty of such an interminable and miserable end for such violent murders might actually start to deter others who think there is any merit t...
