Turn-by-turn navigation on Android 1.6 G1

Didn't expect this to work as believed it was probably beyond the capability of the hardware. I was wrong. Used it on a journey yesterday and it worked well. Google keep on adding features to Android and they become available at no additional cost to existiing users. Do Apple do that?

Change back to the good old days? When unions were the Devil and workers told to "get on your bike". When social security claimants were scroungers, and the deserving rich rewarded with tax cuts. When council houses were sold off cheap to bring in people more likely to vote the "right" way. We need radical change. We need votes to count. We need more than 140 constituencies or so out of 646 where it's worth voting at all. What is a marginal seat We need votes against the ruling or prospective ruling party to count. And if that makes it tough for politicians, meaning ever-shifting coalitions of people with entrenched positions having to negotiate with each other before the law or policy is agreed... well hard luck!
